Mario Naím, the founder of the Mario Naim Law Firm P.C., is an attorney licensed in New York. He advises emerging companies and startups on formation, debt and equity financing, business combinations and all types of commercial agreements, often in a cross-border setting. He also assists general partners and investment advisors in forming private investment funds and advises them with regard to capital raising.
Mario has experience of international finance and M&A transactions, and has worked with local and foreign clients in the acquisition of businesses in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Middle East and South America. He has advised international issuers with regard to U.S. securities regulation, Canadian issuers listed on TSX and TSX Venture Exchange, and has previously worked as general counsel to a public technology company. He currently represents multiple startups and has advised on a large number of seed and Series A rounds.
Mario has earned a Master in International Banking and Financial law from Boston University School of Law and had previously completed successive degrees in Philosophy and Law at the University of Quebec in Montreal.
